Department Store Customer Returns:  An excellent mixture of General Merchandise Returns from a National Department Store Chain.  AML has an exclusive contract with this company to purchase all returns, up to 300 loads per year.  The quality of merchandise included in these loads is equivalent to what could be found in a returns load from stores like Kmart, Wal-Mart, Target, JC Penney, and Sears.  

Items include: Home Accessories, Sporting Goods, Cookware, Appliances, Furniture, Tools, Toys, Auto Accessories, Domestics, Electronics, Clothing, Shoes, Jewelry, and more.  The Department Store General Merchandise Customer Returns are available by the pallet or truckload.  The Truckloads usually come in a 48’ truck, but sometimes in a 53’.  All loads are manifested.  The list could consist of more than 200 pages because of the large mix of merchandise.  As these loads are customer returns, there could be about 15-20% damaged merchandise in the load.  Many of our customers have reported earnings of double the amount they paid for the load, even after they throw away all of the damaged goods.  Compare the numbers on a customers returns load from Kmart, Sears, Target, and JC Penney, you will likely find the cost averages 15 – 16 cents on the retail dollar.  Our Department Store Customer Returns sells at 19.9% of the wholesale dollar, which is equal to about 10 cents on the retail dollar!  Calculations are for illustration only and are not to be used in making purchasing decisions.
